Installation questions
How much does CCTV installation cost in Nairobi?
NE charges KES 1,500 to 3,000 per camera in Nairobi. A house with simple cable runs is about KES 1,500 per camera; larger sites with more cabling or work at height are up to KES 3,000 per camera.
Do you install CCTV outside Nairobi?
Yes. Outside Nairobi the price depends on the location and the work, charged by time or per job as agreed. The client covers the team's transport and accommodation.
Is the equipment included in the installation price?
No. The installation price covers labour. Cameras, recorders, hard disks and cabling are bought separately, for example as one of NE's ready-made bundles.
Do you also install access control, intercoms and networking?
Yes. NE installs access control, video intercoms and networking products as well as CCTV, and finishes the whole job: mounting, wiring, trunking when supplied, connecting the recorder and TV, and power.
Do you set up viewing on my phone?
Yes. As long as there is Wi-Fi or internet on site, we add the cameras to your phone and show you how to share access with other people and remove it.
How much does a password reset cost?
A DVR password reset is KES 2,000 for any size. An NVR reset is KES 3,000 up to 16 channels and KES 5,000 above 16 channels. Bring the recorder to the NE showroom at BBS Mall, Monday to Saturday; it usually takes one to two hours. Resetting a forgotten Hik-Connect app password is free: we guide you through it.
What do I need to have ready before installation?
All products must be on site before the job starts, so the team can work without stopping.
